Sh*ck In Nollywood: Sarah Martins Slumps During Event
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Sarah Martins was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a sudden health scare. The actress recounted the incident on her Instagram page, revealing that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and briefly feared she had lost her life.
Despite the alarming sensation, Martins proceeded to her shop to conduct inventory and hold interviews for incoming staff before she ultimately collapsed. At the hospital, she underwent over 32 medical tests, including screenings for cancer, fibroids, kidney and liver issues, malaria, and typhoid, all of which returned negative results.
Reflecting on her condition, Martins attributed her collapse to exhaustion, noting that she had worked continuously through December without breaks, often prioritizing her responsibilities over her own health. She expressed gratitude for her recovery and emphasized her reliance on faith, stating that doctors advised her to take proper rest.
“I am typing this from a sick bed, but I will be fine because the God that protects the vulnerable kids I struggle for will never fail me,” she wrote, acknowledging the importance of rest and self-care.
