Abbas is set to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, signaling a commitment to finding urgent solutions to the crisis.
Expressing his deep concern, Abbas, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, lamented the ongoing attacks on communities in Mangu Local Council. The Speaker highlighted the intolerable nature of the situation, making it clear that decisive action is necessary.
Confirming his upcoming meeting with President Tinubu, Abbas announced that the House of Representatives will adopt a robust position on the issue when it reconvenes after the Christmas and New Year breaks.
The Speaker emphasized the need for immediate intervention and proactive measures to curb the rising violence.
