School’s Response

In a statement, the school condemned the teacher’s actions as unacceptable and in direct conflict with its values.

“The video circulating on social media reveals conduct that is entirely unacceptable and inconsistent with our school’s principles. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students, and such behavior will not be tolerated,” the school stated.

Immediate Actions Taken

The school confirmed Nwadigo’s suspension and announced the launch of an investigation into the incident.

“We have taken immediate action by suspending the teacher involved while a thorough investigation is conducted. This reflects our zero-tolerance approach to any form of misconduct, especially actions that compromise the safety and well-being of our students,” the statement continued.

Support for the Victim’s Family

The school extended an apology to the family of the affected pupil and assured them of full support.

To avoid similar incidents in the future, the school has introduced several measures:
