This development was disclosed in a statement released by the Director of Press in the Office of the FCT Minister, Anthony Ogunleye, in Abuja on Tuesday.

The nominees for these crucial positions were earlier proposed by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, who sought the president’s approval, aligning with the provisions of the Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (Establishment) Act, 2018.

Engr. Emeka Ezeh was appointed as the Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, alongside six other members representing each geo-political zone of the country.

Furthermore, key coordinators for various departments within the Federal Capital Territory Administration were designated to address staffing needs and enhance administrative efficiency.

Atang Udo Samuel, the most senior Director in the FCT Civil Service, was appointed as the Head of the FCT Civil Service, while several incumbent Directors were elevated to the position of Permanent Secretaries based on their expertise and regional representation.

This strategic move by the Tinubu government underscores its commitment to strengthening the administrative framework of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, with a focus on regional representation and expertise.

The appointments signal a significant step towards fulfilling key administrative mandates within the FCT, aligning with President Tinubu’s agenda for effective governance and service delivery.
