During a business session with German government officials and top industry leaders, President Tinubu highlighted Nigeria’s abundant natural resources and the country’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies from Germany to unlock its potential in energy, solid minerals, and alternative energy.

“We are ready to partner with Germany. With your advanced technology and our abundant natural resources—especially in solar and natural gas—we can forge a transformative partnership,” President Tinubu stated.

The German President praised Nigeria’s ongoing reforms and assured his country’s commitment to fostering investment in renewable energy and other critical sectors. He noted that beyond established players like Siemens, more German companies are exploring opportunities in Nigeria.

Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake, emphasized the availability of critical minerals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel, urging German investors to tap into the €1 billion fund for diversifying the renewable energy supply chain.

Other presentations by the Ministers of Finance, Trade and Investment, and Power showcased Nigeria’s streamlined processes to attract investments, support small and medium enterprises, and create a globally competitive economic environment.

The visit concluded with both nations reaffirming their commitment to deepen economic ties, paving the way for a transformative partnership.
