Tinubu Makes Three Changes On NDDC Board (DETAILS)

President Bola Tinubu has made amendments to the recently reconstituted Board and Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The changes involve the replacement of the Ondo and Cross River states representatives on the Board, as confirmed in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

The changes include the following:

  1. Replacing the NDDC’s Ondo State Representative nominee, Mr. Victor Akinjo, with a new Ondo State Representative nominee, Hon. Otito Atikase.
  2. Replacing the NDDC’s Cross River State Representative nominee, Mr. Asi Oku Okang, with a new Cross River State Representative, Rt. Hon. Orok Otuk Duke.
  3. Reappointing the immediate past Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, for a second term. He will remain in an acting capacity until his reappointment is confirmed by the Senate.

These changes come as part of President Tinubu’s efforts to address the composition of the NDDC Board and Management.
