The unfortunate event unfolded on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, where D1’s lifeless body was discovered hanging from a bedsheet in one of his two shops, where he had been sleeping.

Sources close to the deceased revealed that the decision to end his life might be linked to the substantial debt he had accumulated. Facing the imminent loss of his house due to financial challenges, D1 chose to cut his life short.

The discovery was made by his wife, who had come to check on him. D1, known for operating two video CD shops, had been grappling with severe financial difficulties. The desperate act of using a bedsheet to hang himself from one of the house’s planks shocked the community.

The matter has been reported to the Sango Ota divisional police station, highlighting the devastating consequences of financial distress on mental well-being.
