Tragic News: Popular Islamic Singer Rukayat Gawat Is Dead
Renowned Nigerian Islamic singer, Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso, has reportedly died.
She was famous for her enchanting voice and spiritual songs that touched the hearts of many in the Muslim community.
Ireporteronline reports that the announcement of her passing was posted by well-known Ilorin-based religious leader Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah on his official Facebook page early Tuesday morning.
More information about the cause of her death has not been fully revealed as at the time of filing this report.
Her passing has been deeply mourned by her followers and the wider Muslim music community – with her death being widely reported.
