Tyson Fury Vows Devastating Knockout As Clash With Anthony Joshua Draws Closer

Fury, speaking during an interview with FurociTV, insisted that Joshua would not withstand the pressure or power he intends to bring into the ring, describing his rival’s punch resistance as a major weakness.

“I’ll knock him out for sure. He will not be able to survive against me. He does not have any chin, and I will bang him on it because I am quicker than him and I am a better boxer,” Fury stated.

The former world champion further referenced Daniel Dubois’ recent opponents as part of his argument, suggesting Joshua has shown more vulnerability compared to other elite heavyweights who have faced the rising British star.

Fury also recalled Joshua’s past knockdowns, arguing that they demonstrate a recurring flaw in his durability, while maintaining that other top fighters remained unaffected in similar situations.

Meanwhile, Fury has already returned to action following a brief retirement reversal, securing a points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he publicly called out Joshua.

Joshua, on his part, is scheduled to face Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25 in what is expected to serve as a final preparatory bout before the long-awaited Fury showdown. His promoter, Eddie Hearn, has urged caution, stressing that Joshua must remain focused and avoid underestimating his upcoming opponent.

Prenga, however, has dismissed assumptions that the Fury vs Joshua bout is already guaranteed, warning that heavyweight boxing remains unpredictable and that a single punch could change everything in the division.
