US Authorities Launch Probe Into Fatal California Helicopter Crash Involving Herbert Wigwe

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have confirmed the commencement of a probe into the ill-fated crash, which involved a Eurocopter EC 130 and occurred in the Mojave Desert around 10 pm. local time on Friday, February 9, near Nipton, California.

Although details regarding casualties have not been disclosed, it is reported that six people were onboard at the time of the crash.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the FAA and NTSB announced their involvement in the investigation and assured that updates would be provided as the inquiry progresses.
