Use My Pics Without Permission? Beware! – Dayo Amusa Issues Stern Warning To Brands
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has issued a stern warning to vendors and business owners against using her name or images for promotional purposes without her consent. The actress made the statement in a post shared on her official Instagram account, emphasizing that paying for a product or service does not oblige her to endorse or tag the brand online.
Amusa clarified that any business transactions she undertakes should not be interpreted as free publicity. She further stated that her photographs or videos must not be employed in marketing or sales campaigns without her explicit authorization.
The actress also noted that she does not operate a charity outside her own initiative, the Dayo Amusa Foundation. She warned that any entity disregarding her directive and using her content without permission will face consequences.
In her post, she wrote: “If I pay for your product or service, do not expect me to mention or tag you in my posts. Also, do not use my pictures or videos for promotional purposes without my consent. I do not run a charity except through my foundation. Those who ignore this warning will face consequences.”
