The report revealed that while discussions about a potential trade exist, Napoli remains firm on prioritizing a full transfer fee for their star striker.

“They recognize the speculation regarding a swap deal, but Napoli’s primary aim is to maximize Osimhen’s value through a direct sale,” the report stated.

Galatasaray, where Osimhen has been thriving this season, has dismissed the likelihood of an early January transfer. However, future negotiations might hinge on activating the player’s release clause, with interested clubs needing to engage with the Turkish side first.

Manchester United has shown interest in acquiring Osimhen, considering Zirkzee as part of a potential deal. However, Napoli appears uninterested in incorporating the Dutch forward into their plans.

Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan in September, has had an impressive stint, scoring eight goals and delivering four assists in nine appearances during the 2024-2025 season.

While the 25-year-old is set to return to Napoli next summer, rumours of an early exit persist. Despite previous interest from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli seems resolute in maximizing their financial return on the Nigerian forward.
