Video: Backlash As Nigerians Question Motorist Extortion At Obidient Rally
Yesterday, the Obidient movement held a number of significant rallies in key Federation cities. Needless to say, it was electrifying and a sight to behold.
But, beyond the glitz and glam of social media, there are some drawbacks that Nigerians have roundly condemned.
There is a video going around where Obidient marchers are seen extorting drivers and bystanders. As funny as it may sound, the video portrays the marchers as hungry people who took advantage of the opportunity to extort and beg.
Ribs are cracking over this exchange between the driver and the Obidient people who had requested food and drink from him.
This is how the conversation between this Obident woman and a motorist went.
Woman: Oga give us something to drink…
The Driver: Obi no dey give shishi , we wan copy am na why we no go drop shishi.
