Viral Video Shows Minister Of Art, Culture And Creative Economy Hannatu Musawa Smoking And Dancing At A Party? – Fresh Fact Emerge
Nigeria’s president, Bola Tinubu, appointed Hannatu Musawa as Minister of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy in August 2023.
Her appointment has sparked controversy, particularly regarding her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) status and eligibility for the position.
A video circulating on Facebook purports to show a woman vaping and dancing at a party, with the claim that this woman is Hannatu Musawa, celebrating her appointment.
However, a closer look reveals that this video does not feature Minister Musawa.
The original and longer video was posted by Dior events on TikTok on August 15. In the video, the woman is seen dancing and enjoying Fuji music, a genre associated with the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria.
This music is typically understood by Yoruba speakers.
It’s important to note that Musawa hails from the Fulani tribe in Katsina state, located in northern Nigeria, and Yoruba is not commonly spoken in the northern region.
Upon careful examination, it is evident that the woman in the video and Minister Hannatu Musawa are not the same person. They exhibit distinct differences in complexion, facial features, and style of dress.
