A video shared by his presidential aide, Olusegun Dada, showed Tinubu arriving at his mother’s home, where he was greeted by a large crowd of family members, friends, and well-wishers who offered their support.

Meanwhile, Doyin Okupe, former media advisor to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, has hailed President Tinubu’s bold move in the 2025 budget, allocating a significant ₦4.91 trillion to defence. Okupe emphasized that the budgetary provisions for security, alongside other crucial sectors like infrastructure and health, reflect the administration’s resolve to address insecurity head-on.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Okupe said, “The budget’s forecast for crude oil production and exchange rates are grounded in reality, in line with global trends. The ₦4.91 trillion allocation for Defence and Security signals Tinubu’s unwavering political will to eliminate insurgency and banditry.”
