According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has shared his views on why non-celebrities are more likely to experience genuine love compared to public figures, attributing it to differences in lifestyle, routine, and social exposure.

Speaking on the Ada’s Room podcast, the artist explained that individuals outside the entertainment spotlight often enjoy more structured daily routines, which can support consistency in romantic relationships. He noted that typical work-life patterns, such as going to work and returning home, reduce external disruptions and make it easier to build and maintain meaningful connections.

He stated, “Because as an everyday person, you just go to work and come back home to your woman after closing and repeat.”

Blaqbonez contrasted this with his experience as an artist, saying that the demands of his career make such consistency difficult. According to him, constant engagements, travel, and frequent interactions with new people often disrupt personal routines, making long-term relationships more challenging to sustain.

“You can create a routine where just one or two people challenge the routine in a year. But being an artist, people challenge your routine every day,” he said.

He further explained that celebrity relationships are often complicated by the nature of social interactions in the entertainment industry, where many encounters are pre-planned or influenced by professional intentions rather than organic connection.

“It is really difficult to find a genuine relationship. Being an artist, everybody you meet engineered themselves to be there to meet you. It is crazy because you’re supposed to just live and meet random people,” he added.

Blaqbonez also reflected on his perspective about love, stating that while he cares deeply for partners, he does not believe in idealised or “fairytale” romance. He suggested that such expectations are unrealistic, especially given the demands of his career.

“In a relationship, I care about my partner, but not in a fairytale way. I don’t think I can give anybody the fairytale. I even think that the fairytale thing is fake. Human beings are just trying not to accept reality,” he said.

He concluded that his lifestyle as a musician limits his ability to fully commit to the type of stable, traditional relationship often associated with everyday life, adding that such commitments would be easier if he lived outside the pressures of fame.
