Wumi Toriola Fires Back After Troll Mocks Her For Having Only One Child
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has addressed a social media user who left a demeaning remark on her Instagram page. The exchange occurred shortly after the actress subtly criticized an unnamed colleague while questioning whether the person’s movie could rank among the top five in the industry.
Following her post, a troll appeared in her comment section, mocking her with a statement that loosely translated to “mother of one.” Toriola, known for her outspoken nature, responded with a lengthy message, questioning why the individual chose to attack her unprovoked. She urged her followers to visit the troll’s page and respond accordingly.
In her reaction, she warned that the fame the individual was seeking would bring him nothing but stress and unrest. She wrote partly: “I don’t know you. You woke up and typed ‘OLOMO KAN’ on my page. I want my followers to bless you with a curse. That stardom you are chasing will trouble you and give you no peace.”
Toriola married in 2018 and welcomed her son, Zion, with her former husband. She confirmed the end of her marriage in January 2023. Despite the split, she has often spoken positively about co-parenting and expressed hope of having more children in the future.
