Governor Otti Assures Swift Completion Of Ongoing Road Projects In Aba

Governor Otti conveyed his satisfaction during a weekend road inspection that covered Port Harcourt Road, Old Court Road, Ndoki Road, and Omuma Road.

Addressing enthusiastic residents who gathered to receive him, Governor Otti stated that he had received assurance from Julius Berger, the construction company, that the strategic Port Harcourt Road would be ready for use by December 2024. He encouraged residents to cooperate with the contractors and assured them that the roads would be commissioned soon.

Regarding Omuma Road, the Governor announced plans for dualization, linking it with Old Express Road, Cemetery, and Osusu roads. He emphasized the importance of residents cooperating with the government and contractors, urging them to maintain good sanitary habits once the roads are completed.

Governor Otti promised the completion of Ndoki Road before the end of the year, emphasizing that the construction would extend to the Good Morning Market and connect adjoining streets. The Governor, accompanied by the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Otumchere Oti, assessed the technical details of the projects during the inspection.

The commitment of Governor Otti to the timely completion of these projects reflects his dedication to improving the infrastructure of Aba, a key urban center in Abia State.
