While Otti acknowledged the potential influx of opposition members into the LP, he assured the public that the ongoing good governance initiatives in the state would remain unaffected. He underscored the resilience of his administration’s efforts in delivering on campaign promises, highlighting the utilization of security votes to enhance state security.

Providing insights into recent security developments, Otti revealed the apprehension of key members of a kidnapping gang responsible for the abduction of a professor. Notably, he disclosed the arrest of the gang’s leader at Murtala Mohammed Airport, thwarting an attempted escape overseas. Additionally, he mentioned the successful operations of the Operation Crush security team, which has contributed to the reduction of criminal activities in the state.

Expressing satisfaction over the resolution of longstanding issues, Otti announced the disbursement of pensions to pensioners who had been owed for several years.
