The January 29 mission resulted in the arrest of five individuals hailing from Jau LGA of Jigawa State, identified as Muazu Awuta, Abdullahi Abubakar, Ozeru Sabo, Saddam Suleiman, and Bashir Yahaya.

The police statement revealed a shocking revelation as the team combed the forest, uncovering two decomposing bodies believed to be victims of kidnapping. Alongside the grim discovery, a cache of items including telephones, wristwatches, shoes, and slippers was recovered, painting a sinister picture of criminal activities in the hideout.

To ascertain the identities of the deceased, the command plans to conduct DNA confirmatory tests. Additionally, the operation yielded five operational motorcycles used by the suspects.
