Makinde Takes Swift Action: Facility To Address PTSD Established After Ibadan Explosion

The facility aims to address post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) among survivors of the unfortunate incident.
The explosion occurred at Dejo Oyelese Close, near Bodija Housing Estate, causing distress and potential health concerns for those affected. Governor Makinde, in a decisive move, shared that the Oyo State Housing Corporation in Bodija now hosts the Emergency Operation Centre, including the newly established facility to assist survivors facing respiratory illnesses or symptoms indicative of PTSD.
Encouraging the victims to seek help, the Governor emphasized that medical specialists are available to provide consultations. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Governor Makinde urged survivors to register their complaints by calling the dedicated helpline at 09047190962.
The announcement underscores the commitment of the Oyo State Government to the well-being of its citizens, ensuring that immediate support and medical attention are accessible for those grappling with the physical and mental aftermath of the explosion
