Enugu Nightmare: 11 Victims Seized, Kidnappers Demand N30m For Freedom!Approximately 11 individuals have been abducted along the Amechi-Idodo stretch of the Enugu-Abakaliki federal highway.
At present, the perpetrators are reportedly requesting N30 million for the release of the captives.
According to a source, the victims, including students from tertiary institutions, were taken on Tuesday while traveling back to Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.
They had departed from Awka, the capital of Anambra State, and were intercepted by heavily armed assailants in the infamous Amechi-Idodo area of Nkanu East Local Government Area in Enugu State.
The Enugu State Police Command has yet to confirm the incident.
