Just In: Afolabi, Ize-Iyamu, Afegbua Named in Edo APC Transition Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has just released the names of 24 members who will serve on the Transition Committee to work with the outgoing administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki, ensuring a smooth transfer of power to the incoming government of Senator Monday Okpebholo.

The announcement was made in a letter dated October 14, 2024, and signed by APC Edo State Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe. The letter confirmed the receipt of Governor Obaseki’s request for a transition team and introduced Chief Pius Odubu as the chairman of the APC’s committee.

“We look forward to a seamless transition with the help of our 24-member committee led by Chief Pius Odubu,” the letter read.

Key members of the committee include notable figures such as Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, and Kazeem Afegbua. This experienced team is expected to ensure an orderly transition for the incoming government.
