A Canadian national, identified as Mr. Dwight Sullivan, has been discovered dead in his hotel room on Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to reports gathered by Ireporter Online, the tragic incident occurred at Sun Heaven Hotels Limited, located at 191A Adeleke Adedoyin Street, off Kofo Abayomi Street, in the early hours of October 7, 2025.

Hotel sources revealed that the Chief Security Officer, Mr. Sunday Isadeha, alerted the police around 4:30 p.m. after the guest, who had been lodged in Room 114 since October 2, was found lying motionless on the floor.

A team of detectives from the Victoria Island Police Division immediately visited the scene and carried out forensic documentation. Law enforcement sources confirmed that no visible signs of violence were observed on the deceased’s body.

Mr. Sullivan’s remains were subsequently transported to the Lagos Island General Hospital, Marina, where a medical officer certified him dead. The body has been deposited in the hospital’s morgue pending autopsy results.
