Davido Confirms Joint Album With Chris Brown, Sparks Global Buzz

According to Ireporter Online, Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially confirmed that he and American R&B singer Chris Brown are set to release a joint album next year, further igniting excitement across the global music scene.

Davido made the revelation during his appearance on the Swift Conversations podcast, where he also shed light on the direction of his upcoming projects, noting a strong influence of African sounds and continued collaboration with his longtime Nigerian producers.

He explained that while his current sound remains deeply rooted in Africa, he still maintains strong ties with the American music industry and intends to continue collaborating internationally.

“The music I am making now is very African. In this next project, I am working with a lot of my original producers from back home. However, I am still an American so definitely there’s going to be collaborations. Me and Chris Brown got an album coming next year,” Davido stated.

He further emphasized that collaborations with U.S. artists remain an important part of his creative plans moving forward.

Davido and Chris Brown previously teamed up on the 2019 hit single Blow My Mind, and have since maintained a close musical relationship. The duo had earlier hinted at a joint project in 2023 when Davido disclosed that they had recorded several unreleased songs together, fueling long-standing anticipation among fans.
