“Tinubu Reacts To Malumfashi Tragedy – Promises Swift Action Against Killers”
FG Condemns Malumfashi Worshippers’ Killing, Vows Swift Justice
The Federal Government has strongly condemned the brutal killing of worshippers in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, describing the act as barbaric and inexcusable.
According to iReporter Online, the reaction came through a statement issued by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed Idris, who said the victims were peacefully gathered for worship when they were attacked.
“The Tinubu administration considers this a callous and cowardly act against innocent Nigerians,” Idris said. “It is a crime that must not go unpunished.”
He assured the public that security agencies are actively pursuing those responsible, and that the government is committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice without delay.
According to iReporter Online, the Federal Government pledged that justice would be both swift and decisive, as investigations are already underway to uncover the full circumstances and individuals behind the attack.
The statement also conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s condolences to the families of the deceased, expressing deep sorrow over the senseless loss of life.
“Those who shed innocent blood will find no hiding place in Nigeria,” the Minister warned.
According to iReporter Online, the government reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the rights of all citizens to worship freely and safely, adding that national unity and public safety remain top priorities of the current administration.
