According to Ireporter Online, gospel singer Busola Oke has disclosed that she is experiencing significant financial strain and is considering stepping away from the music industry due to mounting pressures.

During a recent TikTok live session, Oke appeared emotional as she spoke about the difficulties of sustaining a livelihood through gospel music. In an interview with Biola Bayo, she revealed that her breakdown was fueled by feelings of loneliness, depression, frustration, and financial hardship. The singer shared that she has not owned a car since 2020 and is currently struggling to repay outstanding debts.

Oke further explained that she urgently requires stable accommodation and a vehicle, noting that funds intended for basic necessities such as food are often spent on transportation via Uber.

“I cried on my live video because I was lonely, depressed, frustrated, and hungry. I didn’t ask anyone for help because that’s not who I am. I have kept quiet about my situation since 2020 to avoid pity or ridicule. Despite knowing many people, nobody offered assistance. At one point, I couldn’t even pay my house rent of N1 million, and I struggled to eat,” she said.

The singer added, “Right now, I have no car and owe money to several people. The last time I had a car was in 2020. I need to pay off my debts and find proper shelter. Even a basic vehicle would help. Money meant for food is often used for Uber rides, and I am desperately seeking support to stabilize my situation.”
