Pastor Chris Okafor Reveals Sh*cking Reason He Divorced His First Wife
According to Ireporter Online, Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Global, also known as Liberation City, has publicly addressed the reasons behind the end of his first marriage. The cleric, who has recently been under public scrutiny, revealed that his marriage collapsed after he discovered his wife with another man in his home.
The revelation caused significant emotional distress, leading to the eventual breakdown of the union. Pastor Okafor explained that despite his mother urging him to forgive and continue the relationship, the incident made it impossible for him to remain married.
The divorce was subsequently finalized through legal channels in Lagos State. The matter was concluded at a customary court on September 18, 2014, under suit number IKJCC0172014. Reflecting on the painful experience, Pastor Okafor said, “I divorced my first wife because I caught her with a man in my house, and it was because of my mother’s advice that I considered forgiveness.”
