According to Ireporter Online, veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has addressed speculation surrounding her friendship with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji. Rumors of a rift between the two had circulated in recent years, fueled by their absence together in public appearances compared to earlier in their careers.

In a recent interview, Omotola clarified that their bond remains intact. Responding to a question about their relationship, she said, “Oh, Jesus Christ. We are good,” reassuring fans that there are no tensions between them.

Omotola also spoke about her admiration for actor Chidi Mokeme, describing him as her favorite Nollywood performer, both on and off screen.

She further dismissed previous claims of a feud with Nnaji, emphasizing that the supposed conflict was largely fan-driven. “Na them start the quarrel before we know say we dey quarrel. So, we have to catch up with the quarrel. There was no quarrel. People don’t need to be best friends, but we talked. Like behind film, we dey talk normally,” she explained, highlighting that the reports of discord were exaggerated.
