Toyin Adewale Dismisses Rumors Of Explosion At Son Mayorkun’s Residence
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale has refuted claims that her son, singer Mayorkun, lost his Lagos residence in a fire outbreak.
The viral report had alleged that an explosion occurred at the singer’s home on Saturday night, with suggestions that he and his family narrowly escaped the incident.
Responding on Sunday via her Instagram page, Adewale questioned the authenticity of the report and criticized the lack of verification before its publication. She described the news as false and expressed disappointment over its circulation.
The actress also took the opportunity to pray for her family, affirming that no harm or tragedy would befall them. Adewale thanked friends and well-wishers for reaching out with messages and calls, assuring them that everyone was safe.
In her post, she wrote: “Goldmyne, why would you do this? Don’t you verify your news before posting? This is seriously unfair. Anyway, I leave whoever supplies you with this bad news to God. My family and I will never cry, nor sorrow, nor evil shall befall us IJN. Please, Goldmyne, learn to do better. And to my family and friends, I say thank you so much for the calls and messages. I sincerely appreciate.”
