Laide Bakare Declares: ‘I Can Remarry As Many Times As I Want

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has opened up about her views on marriage, stating that she is willing to remarry if her current or future relationships do not work out.

Bakare shared her perspective during an appearance on the Real Live with Aunty Ayo podcast, hosted by Ayo Adesanya, where she discussed relationships and life after marriage. She emphasized that while her religious beliefs do not support multiple marriages for women, she would not remain in a union that is no longer fulfilling or repairable.

The actress explained that when a relationship reaches a point where problems cannot be resolved, she prefers to move on rather than force the marriage to work. She also highlighted that being single does not intimidate her, affirming her independence and confidence outside of marriage.

“My religion doesn’t allow women marrying multiple times, but if I am not getting it right, I am not getting it right! I can marry as many times as possible. There is nothing I can do. I won’t keep trying anyways. Lonely? I can never feel lonely. I don’t feel lonely,” Bakare stated.
