Apple has released iOS 26.4.1 and iPadOS 26.4.1, addressing bugs in its mobile operating systems. According to Ireporter Online, the update focuses solely on bug fixes and does not include any security patches. The official patch notes state, “This update provides bug fixes for your iPhone.”

Reports from users on Apple’s developer forums indicate that the update resolves a significant iCloud sync issue introduced in iOS 26.4. The flaw prevented devices running iOS and iPadOS 26.4 from receiving notifications when iCloud data changed, which in turn caused apps to not sync updated data across devices. Both first-party and third-party CloudKit apps, including Apple’s Passwords app, were affected.

The 26.4.1 update appears to fix this bug, while users on the iOS 26.5 beta version have not experienced the issue. Apple device owners can install the update by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update and following the on-screen instructions.
