Afrobeats singer Bella Shmurda has remembered his late friend and collaborator, Mohbad, three years after his death.

According to Ireporter Online, Shmurda took to X on Saturday to honour the late singer with a brief but emotional message.

“Woe to evil doers. Keep resting Imole!” he wrote.

Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances that triggered widespread outrage and renewed calls for justice.

His death generated significant public attention across Nigeria, with fans, fellow artistes and members of the public continuing to demand answers surrounding the circumstances that led to his passing.

Bella Shmurda, who shared a close relationship with Mohbad, has continued to keep his memory alive through music and public tributes.
