Tinubu Arrives In France To Continue Three-Week Annual Leave

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, as he continues his three-week annual leave in Europe.

According to Ireporter Online, the President was received upon arrival by Nigeria’s Ambassador to France, Ayodele Oke.

Tinubu departed Abuja on Sunday, August 30, 2026, for the three-week holiday, with London serving as his first destination before proceeding to Paris for the next phase of his leave.

A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, at the commencement of the trip said Tinubu would spend three weeks on leave in Europe.

The statement, titled ‘President Tinubu Begins Three-Week Leave,’ indicated that the President was expected to return to Abuja after the vacation.

Upon his return, Tinubu is expected to resume official engagements and participate in activities relating to the January 2027 general election.

The President’s trip comes as political parties and major political figures intensify preparations ahead of the 2027 elections.

Tinubu’s administration has continued to face political activity ahead of the election, with opposition parties and potential presidential contenders already positioning themselves for the contest.

The President is expected to return to Nigeria at the conclusion of his scheduled three-week leave.
