All Is almost set for the turbaning of the new Turaki of Ilorin, Mallam Saliu Mustapha even as the Royal Palace of the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari is now wearing a new look with the massive renovation of one of the finest Palaces in Africa.

The Emir’s palace located in the city of Ilorin is currently undergoing awesome renovations with beautiful designs by professionals.

The Emir of Ilorin’s palace, which houses a lot of historical items, can serve as a tourist centre to visitors who wish to know more about the origin and culture of the ancient city.

The traditional title of Turaki holds a special place in the socio-cultural system of the Ilorin Emirate, as well as other emirates across northern Nigeria. The event is scheduled to be held on October 22 2021.

Mallam Saliu Mustapha who happens to be a frontline aspirant for the APC national chairmanship position is expected to bring the ancient city to a standstill with the celebration.

The vice president, His Excellency Prof Yemi Osinbajo, APC national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other top APC chieftains across the 36 states of the federation are expected to grace the occasion.
