See How Adams Oshiomhole Wrapped Up His Weekend That Drew Wild Applause From The Public(Photos)

For Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State and senatorial candidate for the APC’s Edo North senatorial district, last weekend in his homeland was undoubtedly special.

The weekend got off to a great start as the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Deputy Director General commissioned a 500kva transformer in  Ayogwiri community to provide electricity for the neighbourhood.

This town had been without electricity for more than two years, but thanks to the intervention of the comrade leader, it is now a reality, just in time for the Yuletide season.

During the commissioning ceremony, Oshiomhole stated “When I heard there was no power supply in Ayogwiri and that the cause was because there was no transformer, I felt bad and decided something must be done about it and I am happy today that I am commissioning this 500KVA transformer”

Following that, it was time to express gratitude for Adams Oshiomhole’s several commendable measures toward his adoring people. People turned out in droves to present food items to Adams Oshiomhole.

The scenario was touching and a great sight to behold, it demonstrated organic love from the people for a leader who has always been there for them, and the reception was highly adorable.

Nonetheless, Adams Oshiomhole led a road walk with his people the same weekend, and the streets of Edo North came to a halt as people came out in large numbers to support him, which was not surprising given that Edo North as a whole owes its modernity largely to the administration of Adams Oshiomhole as Edo State Governor.

On the political front, the former labor leader inaugurated the APC Edo North APC Campaign Council, where he urged national assembly members from Edo, Delta, and Kogi states on the Benin-Auchi-Kogi-Abuja road, stating people need courageous and visionary leaders with strong policy tools.

Finally, Adams Oshiomhole addressed the people about his bid to serve them in the National Assembly, saying “I want to represent my people in the Senate because I have a duty to put our country first and change some of the things we are not doing rightly, so that we can all survive collectively.”
