Ojo, a senior figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a political heavyweight in Ekiti State, described emerging political alliances—particularly the African Democratic Congress (ADC)—as posing no significant threat to Tinubu’s second-term ambitions.

“President Tinubu is a democrat who welcomes robust opposition,” Ojo said. “But this latest coalition is just another platform that can only support, not derail, the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Calling for a unifying show of support, Ojo urged governors from the South-West—regardless of party affiliation—to organise a joint rally in solidarity with Tinubu. “This endorsement is long overdue. Other regions have already taken this initiative,” he stated.
