“A Beacon Of Hope”: Governor Ododo Honors Oluremi Tinubu At 65

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended warm felicitations to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday, describing her as “an amazon and a source of inspiration to millions of Nigerians.”

According to Ireporter Online, the governor in a goodwill message personally signed on Sunday, lauded the First Lady for a life marked by compassion, service, and deep devotion to God. He commended her longstanding commitment to the welfare of women, children, and the less privileged, noting that her influence continues to inspire hope nationwide.

“Your Excellency, we celebrate a life of compassion, exemplary strength, and dedication to the welfare of women, children, and the less privileged. You continue to inspire hope across Nigeria,” Ododo wrote.

He further remarked that turning 65 reflects a life of purpose and grace, while praying for her continued good health, wisdom, and strength. Ododo also expressed confidence in her role as a steadfast supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and her commitment to advancing noble causes that promote national development.

Earlier on Sunday, President Tinubu himself paid glowing tribute to his wife in a midnight message, describing her as his confidant, counsellor, and unwavering anchor through decades of personal and political struggles. He praised her quiet strength and enduring grace, recalling her steadfast support from the years of political exile to the challenges of leadership.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu is widely respected for her advocacy for women’s empowerment, youth development, and humanitarian initiatives. Before becoming First Lady, she served three consecutive terms as Senator for Lagos Central, sponsoring several bills and initiatives on education, social welfare, and gender equity. In her current role, she has championed the Renewed Hope Initiative, which focuses on economic empowerment, agriculture, health, and social investment for vulnerable Nigerians.
