Award-winning Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has been officially unveiled as the Brand Ambassador for premium whisky house The Macallan in Nigeria.

According to Ireporter Online, the partnership is anchored on shared principles of craftsmanship, excellence, legacy, and creativity, reflecting the alignment between the music star and the luxury spirits brand.

The unveiling ceremony took place during the launch of The Macallan Timeless Collection at The Anthonia by Civic Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, where key figures from the entertainment, business, and media industries gathered to witness the presentation of the brand’s redesigned Double Cask and Sherry Oak collections.

Speaking on the collaboration, Adekunle Gold described the partnership as intentional and deeply authentic, emphasizing that both his creative journey and The Macallan’s philosophy are rooted in patience, precision, and timeless quality.

He said, “This partnership is rooted in shared values—craftsmanship, excellence, legacy, class, and the beauty of taking time to create something meaningful. Everything I create, whether through music, culture or storytelling, is built with intention, and that is what makes this relationship with The Macallan feel both natural and deeply authentic. We both understand that timeless work is never rushed, and I am excited about what we will build together.”

The event also marked the formal public announcement of a collaboration that had been developed over months of strategic cultural activations and engagements between both parties.

Prior to the unveiling, the singer and the brand had worked together on several curated experiences, including an exclusive Coco Money dinner at Kaly Restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos, as well as the integration of The Macallan into Adekunle Gold’s Coco Money music video and its launch campaign.

The partnership further extended into activities surrounding the rollout of his Fuji album celebrations in October 2025.
