Senate President Godswill Akpabio has attributed the recent release of abducted pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s strong focus on addressing insecurity across the country.

According to Ireporter Online, Akpabio made the statement on Wednesday while receiving members of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria, led by its National President, Lima Ahmed, during a visit to the National Assembly.

The Senate President said the Tinubu administration remains committed to tackling security challenges and would continue to deploy necessary measures to ensure the safety of Nigerians.

Akpabio stated that the President’s attention to the country’s security situation contributed to the successful release of the Oyo schoolchildren and teachers who were recently abducted.
