APC Delta North Senatorial Primary Election: Senator Peter Nwaoboshi Returned Unopposed

The Senator representing the good people of Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger-Delta Affairs, Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi (SPON) has won the All Progressive Congress (APC) Primary Election, that took place at the sports arena of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Asaba, on Saturday.

The Oracle turned Miracle of Anioma Politics, as he is popularly called, was returned unopposed, since there were no other rivalry in the Party Primary Election.
The venue was animated as early as 10 am, on Saturday, the 28th of May, 2022, as large crowd of teeming supporters from within and outside APC flooded the open field.
The event was overwhelmingly colourful as it could have been mistaken for a Carnival, with different cultural dance and support based groups, displaying there dancing skills and entertaining the crowd.
All the delegates from the nine Local Government Areas that made up Delta North Senatorial District, were perfectly represented at the venue, as everyone were eager to be part of the history making event.
The hierarchy of APC personalities in Delta State and the Senatorial District, were all fully on ground in solidarity with the man of the moment, Senator Nwaoboshi.
It was a lone context as the Distinguished Senator was gallantly returned unopposed by the entire Delegates.
Some of the Party leaders that spoke at the event stated that the significance of the ‘lone context’ in the Primary Election, is that the people unanimously wants Senator Nwaoboshi to return to the Red Chambers, in order to continue the good works he has been doing.
Speaking with Newsmen, An APC leader in Delta North Senatorial District, Evangelist Moses Kamanya, who is also the Director General of Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi Campaign Organization (SPONCO) reiterated the fact that the people are pleased with the efforts of SPON and wants him to carry on. According to him, it will be unwise and unheard of that, a winning team is changed, except such mind is unprogressive.
Another APC leader and House of Representatives hopeful for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Dr Felix Tony Nwaka, also pointed out that, once a status quo is pleasant, such should be maintained and not challenged. There is none or little political assertion or explanation to it, but just the natural thing with positivity, he concluded.
With Saturday’s event, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, has formally become the All Progressive Congress (APC) flag-bearer for the Delta North Senatorial Election, after all the delegates to the Primary Election, formally affirmed his candidacy.
