Atiku’s Presidency Would Have Led To Collapse Of Stability – Bode George
Bode George, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed his concerns about the party’s internal crisis and the aftermath of the 2023 presidential election during an interview on Arise TV.
He stated that if Atiku Abubakar had won the presidency, he would have been overwhelmed, potentially leading to instability in Nigeria.
George criticized the party’s decision to select a northern candidate, which he believes disrupted the party’s balance and contributed to its current divisions.
He also lamented the loss of the PDP’s ability to effectively oppose the ruling government, warning that the party is now divided into three major factions and is facing serious challenges.
