BBNaija S11 Twist: Flora, Aikou Named Gambits, Lose ₦160m Prize Eligibility
Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates, Flora and Aikou, have been selected as the official Gambits for the ongoing reality TV show, introducing a major twist to the competition.
According to Ireporter Online, the announcement was made by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the live eviction show on Sunday.
Flora emerged as the leading Gambit candidate after securing 29.18 per cent of the votes, while Aikou followed with 9.10 per cent to claim the second Gambit position.
Under the new twist introduced by Big Brother, the two housemates will remain in the house until the end of the season but will not be eligible to win the ₦160 million grand prize.
However, Flora and Aikou will enjoy immunity from eviction throughout the competition and will benefit from all task victories achieved during their time in the house.
The Gambit twist means that while they cannot claim the ultimate prize, they will have a significant influence on the weekly challenges and activities as the season progresses.
The “Show Ya Sef” edition of Big Brother Naija began on July 26, with 24 housemates entering the house to compete for the grand prize.
The season is scheduled to run for 10 weeks, featuring weekly tasks, nominations, evictions and other challenges before the grand finale expected in October.
The introduction of the Gambit role has added a new layer of competition and strategy as housemates continue their journey toward the final stage of the reality show.
