Harry B Appeals For Help As Actress Maureen Okpoko Battles Blindness

Veteran Nollywood actor and musician, Harry B Anyanwu, has appealed to Nigerians and members of the film industry to rally support for veteran actress Maureen Okpoko, who is reportedly battling vision loss and requires financial assistance for medical treatment.

According to Ireporter Online, Anyanwu made the appeal on Monday after visiting the actress in Enugu State. He disclosed that medical professionals had expressed optimism that Okpoko could regain her sight if she receives the necessary treatment without delay.

The actor urged colleagues in Nollywood, filmmakers, fans, and other well-meaning Nigerians to contribute towards the actress’s medical expenses, stressing that collective support could significantly improve her chances of recovery.

Anyanwu emphasized that the veteran actress should not be left to face her health challenges alone, noting that timely intervention from the public and the entertainment community could help restore her vision and improve her overall well-being.

Sharing an emotional message during his appeal, he said he was standing with Okpoko and called on Nollywood to unite in support of one of its respected veterans.
