In the video that quickly went viral, Abraham excitedly told the audience, “Bimbo just bought a house and a car. Latest Benz!” The announcement prompted a quick reaction from actress Ini Edo, who jokingly tapped Abraham on the shoulder, asking, “Who send you?”

Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, Ademoye firmly denied the claim, saying Abraham’s words were simply untrue. Speaking in a playful tone, she joked that she was far from being in a position to make such purchases, attributing Abraham’s comments to her character, Yetunde Animashun, from the Alakada movie franchise.

“Yetunde Animashaun paro ku. She even dropped one lie last night at the premiere of #AlakadaBadandBoujee. House and car whereeeeeee, wey I never chop belleful,” Ademoye humorously wrote in Pidgin English.

Meanwhile, in other news, actress Ini Edo has also been at the center of speculation regarding her marital status. Reports had swirled after she shared a photo of herself in a traditional Efik bridal gown on Instagram in September 2024, leading many to believe she was announcing an engagement. However, in a recent interview with Premium Times, the actress clarified that the post was part of the promotion for her upcoming four-part series, My Fairytale Wedding, and not an engagement announcement.

When asked about the prospect of a real-life fairytale wedding, Ini Edo shared that marriage was not a priority for her. “I’m not crazy about marriage; I am crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points,” she said.

Edo, who was previously married to Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina, noted that her focus now is on building meaningful relationships rather than conforming to societal expectations around marriage.
