According to sources from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos, the exchange rate for Sunday, March 16, 2025, stood as follows:
- Buying rate: ₦1,595 per dollar
- Selling rate: ₦1,610 per dollar
Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has maintained its official exchange rate within the range of ₦1,480 to ₦1,548 per dollar. The CBN does not recognize the parallel market and advises individuals to conduct foreign exchange transactions through official banking channels.
It is important to note that exchange rates may vary based on location and negotiation.
