Bobrisky Found Guilty Of Naira Abuse, Convicted By Federal High Court

Controversial figure Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, has been convicted by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos for abusing the Naira. During the proceedings, Bobrisky admitted to not being aware of the law regarding the abuse of the Naira and pleaded for leniency, expressing a desire to use his platform to educate Nigerians and the public on the matter. However, Justice Awogboro dismissed his plea, emphasizing that ignorance of the law does not justify the offense.

Addressing the court, Bobrisky expressed remorse for his actions and requested a second chance to utilize his platform for educating his followers about the proper handling of money, particularly during events where money spraying is common.

Despite Bobrisky’s apology and pledge to educate others, the judge upheld the conviction, signaling the seriousness of the offense.
