In a recent interview with reality star Uriel Oputa, Charly Boy revealed that he identifies with a feminine persona he calls Linda. He explained that although he could be perceived as gay due to his feminine traits, he isn’t, as he would actively advocate for gay rights if he were.

“I’ve a feminine side I called Linda. And I remember when I was doing the Charly Boy show, I had this character I always played called Miss Zigizigi. I picked that up when I was in the United States. So I’ve my feminine ways and sometimes I can get confusing if you really don’t know who I am. A lot of people have said I am gay. I could be but I am not. Because if I was gay I will be carrying my placards going around and fighting for gay rights,” Charly Boy stated.

In a separate statement, Charly Boy expressed his discontent with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), accusing the party of inflicting suffering, hunger, and despair upon Nigerians. He took to social media to voice his concerns amidst ongoing economic turmoil, echoing widespread dissatisfaction with the current administration’s handling of the country’s affairs.

Meanwhile, former Emir of Kano State, Muhammadu Sanusi, urged Nigerians not to solely blame President Bola Tinubu for the nation’s economic woes. Sanusi criticized the previous administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari for mismanagement and disregarding expert advice on economic recovery.
