Nigerian TikTok sensation Peller has revealed that some guests sprayed fake dollar notes during his traditional wedding ceremony with fellow content creator Jarvis, a claim that has sparked reactions online.

According to Ireporter Online, Peller disclosed the experience in a viral video while speaking about the money received during the celebration. He explained that although several guests sprayed genuine Nigerian currency, some of the foreign notes presented at the event turned out to be fake.

The content creator said he later confirmed that many of the naira notes he received were authentic after visiting the bank, adding that he could identify some of the individuals who gave him genuine money.

Peller explained that he initially felt extremely excited after receiving the cash gifts and even used the money to create a video, believing the dollar notes were real. However, he said his excitement changed after attempting to exchange the dollars and discovering that they were counterfeit.

He noted that he had avoided speaking about the issue immediately because he was still processing what happened, questioning the practice of spraying money at social events.

The TikTok star added that while he appreciated those who supported him with genuine gifts, the experience with the fake dollar notes left him disappointed and surprised.

Peller’s revelation has since generated discussions among social media users, with many debating the tradition of spraying money at celebrations and the need for guests to ensure that gifts given at events are genuine.
