In an interview on Nigerian Info FM, George described Jandor as a “congenital liar” and said that the PDP had made a mistake in bringing him into the party. He claimed that Jandor had initially agreed to choose Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as his running mate but later went back on his word.

George recounted that the decision to bring Jandor into the party was influenced by a respected elder, but as things progressed, they discovered Jandor’s true character. He criticized Jandor’s decision to step down Gbadebo after he had already paid for the party’s governorship ticket.

According to George, this experience taught the party a valuable lesson, and the elders have vowed that they will not repeat the same mistake with future candidates. He concluded by stating that the party elders had apologized for their earlier decision, promising that such issues would not arise again.
